GHJ own their own fleet of Hydro Building tools including specialist, modern plant and excavators capable of working safely on steep slopes and up to date rock pecking equipment. The machines are operated by highly experienced CPCS trained operatives who are well versed in working in extreme weather, narrow corridors on difficult and environmentally sensitive terrain. Our operatives take pride in ensuring that all excavation works are reinstated and blend seamlessly back into the landscape.
GHJ has experience in delivery of Hydro Materials in tough terrain using Helicopter and use specialist ATV’s to transport people and fuel. GHJ have also developed unique working methods for batching large amounts of high strength concrete in difficult terrain for hydro intake works.
GHJ have a team of trained fusion welding technicians capable of butt welding and coupler welding on small and large diameter pipe lines and have developed stringent QA systems including GPS setting out and coordinates of joints and a de-beading reference system.
